Authentic Tarahumara Indian Double Sided Ceremonial Drum.

Created and hand made by the Tarahumara people, native yellow pine is shaved until it is thin enough so as to bend into a hoop. The Goat skin is then stretched on both sides of the drum and laced around the edges with real raw hide.

Drum has a small raw hide handle, which is ideal for hanging. These Drums are held vertically when played by the raw hide handle. These Drums are a beautiful authentic instrument, as well as making beautiful, rustic pieces of art on any wall or anywhere you place them in your home. The Plain Drums are also used for art projects as the raw hide makes a perfect canvas for painting and decorating.
